The core content of the module deals with the basics of biomedical instrumentation at the level of its general architecture, both for the electronic (sensors, data acquisition, A/D and D/A conversion) part and for the ICT one, i.e. biomedical instrumentation networking and distributed data processing.
The main educational goal of the module is the construction of a coherent body of basic Biomedica Engineering knowledges such as to provide the student useful competences, in a subsequent phase, to exercise on the field professional capacities in the domain of reference of the course
