The course of General pathology deals with the study of the causes of disease e of the possible consequential pathological processes
The course of Anatomi Pathology deals with the pathologic processes, in particular of the buccal system
The course of Microbiology deals with the normal buccal bacterical flora and its pathological role
Knowledge of aetiopathogenesis, pathophysiology, anatomi pathology and main clinical aspects of systems
Provide the students with the knowledge necessary to understand the mechanisms with which the causes of disease act on the organism and the main consequences of such acts.
Provide the students with the basic anatomic pathology of the buccal system
Provide the students with the basic microbiology of the buccal system
Lectures, with interactions with the students
General aetiology; main cell adaptation and damage mechanisms; inflammation, repair; general oncology

Each students will be examined about at least two chapter of the program of general pathology, one of anatomic patholgy and one of microbiology, with questions apt to evaluate his/her knowledge and his/her ability to connect different subject of the program. The knowledge and the definitions of the basic elements must be known in order to consider the examination approved.
