Purification of monomer and initiator; correlation between synthetic parameters as monomer and initiator concentration etc. with yield and molecular weight of polymers. Polymers fractionation. Characterization, as viscosimetric, spectroscopic and thermal measurements of synthesized polymers. Polymer mixing. Measurement of superficial properties of polymeric films, by determination of contact angle. The oral examination is conducted by two professors. They are able to verify the achievement of the learning outcomes. When these are not met, the student is invited to extend the study.
