A first knowledge of environmentally preferable approaches to the design and operation of the chemical processes; a sufficient awareness of the main environmental issues not only within the context of chemical production but also during other stages of a chemical’s life cycle (transportation, use, recycle, disposal).

Oral examination
The oral exam is always conducted by two teachers of the School and has a duration of at least 1 hour. In this way the commission can verify with high accuracy if the student has reached the learning outcomes. The depth and coherence of the knowledge of the most important concepts and equations will be evaluated. Moreover the ability to apply them to simple specific cases will be assessed. If the commission ascertain that the learning oucomes have not been reached, the students are invited to repeat the exam.
