The purpose of the course is to introduce basic algebraic concepts and techniques used in the arithmetic study of number fields and, more generally, of Dedekind's rings. The course provides algebraic prerequisites needed to address more advanced issues in Numerical Theory, Arithmetic Geometry and related topics.
