CODE 67752 ACADEMIC YEAR 2017/2018 CREDITS 1 cfu anno 4 SCIENZE DELLA FORMAZIONE PRIMARIA 9322 (LM-85 bis) - SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINARY SECTOR BIO/06 LANGUAGE Italian TEACHING LOCATION SEMESTER 2° Semester MODULES Questo insegnamento è un modulo di: SCIENCES OF THE LIFE AND SCIENCES OF THE TERRITORY TEACHING MATERIALS AULAWEB OVERVIEW Laboratory activities are designed in order to develop conscious behaviors in the relationship between man and nature AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The lab will bring students closer to the concepts of sustainability and sustainable education through specific activities that, by addressing some of the issues with a direct relationship with the Ligurian territory, will foster the development of a personal conscience and the commitment to adopt conscious behaviors. This will promote the transposition of sustainability concepts into the educational processes in primary and secondary schools, where students will be professionally involved. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The impact of the transposition of the concept of sustainability into school teaching will be explored. The students will be able to fully understand the characteristics of the teaching when dealing with the sustainability concept. These goals will also be pursued through direct interaction with significant territorial realities. TEACHING METHODS Group work, supported by electronic or bibliographic materials, will be the core of the classroom activity. Field activities, lectures by experts and exchanges with significant subjects involved in the themes of the laboratory will be included. SYLLABUS/CONTENT With direct reference to the course to which the lab is connected, activities will be developed on key themes such as the ecological footprint and water footprint. According to the actual possibility of collaboration with educational realities with specific didactic experiences operating in the Ligurian territory, visits, seminars and exchange of experiences will be organized. Class schedule ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (WORKSHOP) EXAMS EXAM DESCRIPTION The lab includes evaluations during the activities. ASSESSMENT METHODS The group work will be evaluated in order to ascertain: KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: the development of specific and interdisciplinary skills that will help the student in understanding the content of sustainability. CAPACITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANMDING: the acquisition of critical skills in interpreting events and everyday reality issues related to the relationship between man and the environment. AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT: the acquisition of autonomy of judgment and awareness on the topics of sustainability, especially those that have an impact on everyday life. COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS: Enhancement of understanding and using appropriate terminology and development of communicative abilities to share with others the acquired awareness. LEARNING CAPACITY: Developing appropriate skills to enable students to manage autonomously the complex issues of sustainability.
