Will be illustred iconographic and geographic materials and main themes for the knowledge of our society. Will be illustred bibliographical, statistical, web, cartographical and didactic sources for the research in actual geography. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES Acquisition the knowledge of human activities and operating expertise in the field of geographical cutural geography, based on the anthropological comprensive, in a multicultural perspective. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The main objectives are: - to convey the comprehension of geography as a discipline which studies the relationship between man and environment and its evolution; - to provide knowledge of the main themes and problems for understanding and analyzing the socio-political and territorial dynamics; - to acquire basic skills in order to understand the structure of socio-spatial systems (relationship among society, politics and space, the latter being understood as social product). TEACHING METHODS Slide lecture and graph analysis, charts, diagrams, thematic charts, video lessons. Tutorials, reviews and self-evaluation tests for the cartography part. Projection and discussion of textual and video documents and in-depth discussion of some topics in them. SYLLABUS/CONTENT The module deepens the following thematic areas: the basic notions of human geography (space, location, distance, region); Geography of the population and relationship with natural resources; Urban geography and city evolution; Human impact on natural systems and climate change; Geography and sustainable development; Knowledge and conscious and critical use of cartography. The interview also takes place on the basis of images, charts, tables, thematic maps and video lessons learned and on the supplementary materials made available on the Aulaweb portal or on textbooks.
