LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course introduces to the knowledge of corporate lending and investment banking. Students will deepen credit risk management issues, balance sheet analysis, corporate valuation and the features of financial services to businesses

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course has the following objectives: understanding the articulation of corporate and investment banking activities;  deepening the phases of the corporate financing process;  illustrating the characteristics of the different ways of corporate financing according to the life cycle phase that they undergo: start-up, scale-up, maturity, decline; Analyzing and evaluating companies in view of a traditional or extraordinary financing operation.

• THE PHASES OF THE CORPORATE LENDING PROCESS: CREDIT WORTHINESS ASSESSMENT, MONITORING, MANAGEMENT OF DEFERRED CREDITS
• EQUITY MARKET OPERATIONS: EQUITY CROWDFUNDING, INDIVIDUAL SAVINGS PLANS (PIR), ANGEL INVESTING, VENTURE CAPITAL, PRIVATE EQUITY, INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING, SPECIAL PURPOSE ACQUISITION COMPANIES
