The evolution of Society deeply influences Family Law, often producing radical changes. This course adopts a comparative approach on some of these changes, such as marriage evolution, which has been recently exposed to a strong revision, particularly focused on the question of children adoption.The course offers students the opportunity to study personal and patrimonial relationships between members of families and couples in European Union and United States of America, by analyzing legislation and case law.

FAMILY COMPARATIVE LAW
Attendance students
At the end of the course (in may 2018) attendance students can take a written examination focused on all the lessons, including investigations about specific themes, and integrated by teaching materials used for the lectures
For in employment students there will be an oral test (based on textbook) on the exam sessions indicated.
To attend the exam, it is mandatory to enrol (at least 48h before the session) following the Athenaeum on-line process.
