CODE 64921 ACADEMIC YEAR 2017/2018 CREDITS 9 cfu anno 2 GIURISPRUDENZA 7995 (LMG/01) - SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINARY SECTOR IUS/21 LANGUAGE Italian TEACHING LOCATION PREREQUISITES Propedeuticità in ingresso Per sostenere l'esame di questo insegnamento è necessario aver sostenuto i seguenti esami: LAW 7995 (coorte 2016/2017) CONSTITUTIONAL LAW 64900 2016 MODULES Questo insegnamento è composto da: MOD. 1 PUBLIC COMPARATIVE LAW A MOD. 1 PUBLIC COMPARATIVE LAW B MOD. 2 PUBLIC COMPARATIVE LAW A MOD. 2 PUBLIC COMPARATIVE LAW B TEACHING MATERIALS AULAWEB AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The Course aims at comparing, in a synchronic and diachronic way, the different constitutional systems, by taking into account the legal texts of reference, as well as the efficiency and effectiveness of the institutional solutions, the possibility to transplant the latter ones in other contexts or using them to define institutional models. The analysis also concerns the attitude of the juridical science and jurisprudence in relation to the enhancing of a comparative approach. Furthermore, the Course is focused on helping students in trying to better understand the trends, at international level, relating to the development of national legal systems, also in the light of global phenomena as supranational organizations and the international protection of human rights. More focused surveys will closely look at specific national legal systems considered particularly significant also in relation to our domestic perspective. The Course has, moreover, the objective of examining the constitutional structure of a foreign national legal system. It shall be considered its functional and organizational development as well as in relation to the protection of fundamental freedoms. Particular attention shall be devoted both to the use of languages and to the students' skill to find juridical resources.
