Introductory general concepts of Italian Private Law as a general law of juridical relations: legal norms and legal interpretation; private law and public law; sources of obligations (relations between Italian Civil Code and Statutory Law; European Private Law); legal categories with reference to private law (juridical relations; personal rights; legal effects; facts, acts, juridical acts; goods); subjects of private law (natural persons, capacity and disability; corporations and non-profit organizations; with or without legal personality; general notions of companies and business associations; privacy rights). Theory and contents of the law of obligations (obligations and property rights; enforceability of the contract; breach and liability); contract law (general principles; formation; effects; remedies).
