Business Management Module: Management is a knowledge made of practical experience and theoretical knowledge. For this reason, the focus of this module is on knowing and knowing how to do. Management is much more than just good administration, though necessary. It is essentially the ability to organize and mobilize resources towards innovation goals.
The business management module aims to provide the basic concepts of the management of the enterprise and its collaborative relationships. Of the three parts in which the module is articulated, the first two (organization and decision making) represent the conceptual heart and are intimately linked to each other: in a managerial key, organizing and deciding are two sides of the same medal. The third is devoted to the management of interfaces in the value chain, in particular the relationships with suppliers and, in general, the supply chain and supply chain partners.
Business management module learning outcomes: 1) Understanding the key elements of organizational design, 2) Understanding how to structure effective decision making, 3) Understanding how to structure one of the most important organizational function (purchaising and supply chains) .
