OVERVIEW

Deepen the knowledge of loco-regional, surface and nerve block anesthetic procedures in foot surgery, and the side effects of anesthetic drugs. Learning major techniques of pain therapy (pharmacologica, agopuncture, etc)

LEARNING OUTCOMES

To learn the principles and techniques of loco-regional, superficie and nerve block anesthesia, and side effects of anesthetic drugs. Learning major techniques of pain therapy (pharmacologic, agopuncture,....etc).

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

Students will be trained to:

Deepen their knowledge of anesthetic procedures and therapy of pain  in foot surgery and the unwanted and sometimes life-threatening effects. The course will also teach the correct procedures to face cardio-pulmonary emergency.

EXAM DESCRIPTION

The exam is performed as written test with open questions. Results are scored as 30thies; the exam will be passed aquiring a score of at least 18 points over 30.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

The exam is aimed to evaluate student's knowledge about major anestesiologis disorders.
