The course has the objective to develop competences respect the activities of laboratory to support of the epidemiological surveys, of the surveillance systems and the control activities of the transmissible illnesses.
The course has the objective to develop the following knowledges: - the principal molecular techniques and the relative applications in Public Health; - the applications of the molecular epidemiology in the infectious illnesses; - the surveillance systems for the evaluation of the epidemiological impact; - the characterization of the circulating microorganisms; - the early warning of epidemic events.
