The course aims to train students on issues related to the organization of local health services and hospitals, and the principles of health planning.

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course has the following objectives: studying the evolution of the National Health Service, its organization and the principal laws and developing knowledge regarding the organization of the local health authority.

TEACHING METHODS

Frontal lessons.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

- Evolution of the legal and health-organizational Health;

- Organizational levels in Health: organization of the health care system and the health services;

- Essential Assistance Levels;

- The Local Health Authority and the Hospital (classification, competences, organization, regional structure, requirements and responsibilities);

- Organogram of Local Health Autority.
