OVERVIEW

The apprenticeship of the VI year of the Degree Course consists in clinical activities carried out directly by the students under the supervision of clinical tutors. The apprenticeship is conducted in University and Hospital clinical units.

At the end of the course the student must be able to diagnose, develop a proper treatment plan and manage the clinical procedures necessary in order to carry on the planned treatment plan

EXAMS

EXAM DESCRIPTION

The final exam comprises an interview and the discussion of clinical cases

ASSESSMENT METHODS

The student must demonstrate the attendance of at least 75% of the planned learning activities presenting the special register and the certificates signed by the clinical tutors attesting the clinical activities carried out.

The interview will evaluate the capacity to formulate a proper diagnosis and treatment plan using a suitable terminology.

The evaluation will also include punctuality, personal behaviour, communication skills, decency and professionalism in the relationship with the patient, with the clinical tutors and with the dental equips of the different clinical divisions.
