OVERVIEW

The course will provide a basic understanding of elements of environmental and territorial sustainability.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The idea is to analyze the structures, problems and trends of development of governance systems, in their
different aspects, with particular reference to urban and regional planning aimed at the protection,
conservation and enhancement of territorial elements that interact with the factors human.

TEACHING METHODS

The ex-cathedra lectures will be complemented by practical exercises.

- General overview of the planning discipline and description of basic knowledge through analysis of the
contents and the consequent technical applications of the main laws
- Urban and building Indices -homogeneous areas-urban standards-soil- System license and building permit-
- Building and urban recovery
- Framework and general plans. Ordinary and sector plans.
- Attuative planning
- Liguria’s Urban law (LR 36/97, PTR - PTC - PUC) and comparison with others urban tools in the different
Italian regions
- Concerted Planning: general asset of the tools at the national level. The experiences of Liguria. Insights on
POI, PI, PRU an PRUSST
- Basin Plan in Italy and Liguria Region
