To set goals and tasks of hygiene (preventive medicine, public health, community medicine). To understand the fundamental measures in epidemiology, active and passive immunisation, strategies and vaccinations timetables. To analyse the historical pathway of public health. To analyse the historical pathway of preventive, palliative and rehabilitation nursing especially in order to prevent diseases.
Learn and be able to apply the fundamental principles of the course.
Know and be able to use the the knowhow acquired during the course in order to understand the chidren’s and the families’ needs during the different ages and development phases.
Integrate the knowledge and understand the complexity of the different persons, groups and communities.
Frontal lessons and guided discussions
Through the analysis of the relationships between Physicians, Patient and Ilness in the different historical epochs, the course will highlight the evolution of the development in the sanitary and care arts, with according achievements and innovations
