This course will deal with the stages through which global finance becomes independent from real economy. The complexity of the financial dynamics worldwide and their geopolitical implications will also be synthetically reconstructed. The aim is to provide students with some tools to understand some contemporary phenomena such as globalization, the critical issues of financial capitalism, the new protagonists and the new forms of mercantilism, the reasons of the increase of crisis and their features
