The spatial dimension must be interpreted as a cultural mediator oriented towards the development of relations with the environment, the territory and societies. The course is divided into two modules: Didactics of Geography and Geography of Italy and Europe. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The main purpose of the teaching is to make the students understand that geography is: - the discipline that studies the relationship between man and the environment and their evolution over time, - it is a discipline that is not merely descriptive but explanatory and interpretative, - is critical knowledge of reality and study of territorial problems and possible solutions. ENRICO BERNARDINI Exam Board ENRICO BERNARDINI (President) FEDERICO DE BONI (President) ANTONELLA PRIMI (President) LESSONS Class schedule GEOGRAPHY EXAMS EXAM DESCRIPTION The exam is in oral form, it is conducted also through commentary and critical analysis of images, graphs, tables, maps, videos and educational examples in-depth in class or present on the materials provided and the texts in the program. ASSESSMENT METHODS The oral examination will focus on the theoretical parts, the main concepts and themes of geography, and the parts of disciplinary teaching illustrated and discussed during the course. Will be evaluated: the quality of the interview and the correct use of the specialized lexicon; the ability to illustrate the theoretical references, contents, approaches and teaching tools; the capacity for reflection and autonomous reasoning on the insights presented and discussed during the lessons; the ability to identify links between the contents of the general part and the didactic part; the ability to hypothesize interdisciplinary connections.
