Pediatrics is concerned with the health of infants, children, and adolescents; their growth and development; and their opportunity to achieve full potentials as adults.
The student will acquire:
preventive, diagnostic and rehabilitative knowledge of issues related to the state of health and illness in the neonatal age, in infancy and adolescence, as far as the expertise of a non-specialist physician is concerned;
The ability to identify the conditions that need the specialist's professional support, and to plan essential medical interventions for the major health problems inherent pediatric specialist medicine.
The course includes the development of specific clinical skills and includes professional activities.

The lessons of the integrated course take place in 16 full days, during which classroom lessons, seminars and small group lessons (professional training) are held.
