The course is designed to ensure a elementary understanding of the Roman legal experience, in its different aspects and periods. In particular it is formulated to present the constitutional forms and the production of law through authoritative and jurisprudence sources with the formation of private and official collections of the imperial age.; promote the evolution of the Roman civil procedure in its principal forms, present the law of persons, the institutions and family relations and the successions until the compilation of Justinian; promote the understanding of the real rights in the Roman legal experience with particular reference to the concept of dominium , as well as training of iura in re aliena; present the law of obligations, the concept of obligatio and its source.
