AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

General knowledge of athletics; knowledge of techniques, training methods and rules of the different disciplines.

TEACHING METHODS

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

Races: speed races, relays, hurdles, long distances (basics of race walking and combined events - decathlon/heptathlon);

Jumps: high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault.

Throws: shot put, discus throw, hammer throw, javelin throw.

Practical exam based on three different disciplines that have been dealt with during the lessons: mastered the basic technique of the specialties. Ability to recognize the principal executive errors

Written exam with artistic gymnastics and judo: knowledge of the theoretical and practical elements of athletics
