An integral part of the course is to consider the laboratory exercises where experimentation occurs and the theory is made in lesson. SYLLABUS/CONTENT Iterative methods for the solution of linear systems.Minimizing quadratic forms: gradient method and conjugate gradient method. Methods for the solution of nonliner systems.The interpolation polynomials.Interpolation with splines and trigonometric functions.The Fast Fuorier Transform (FFT) algorithm and frequency filtering. Least squares approximation: continuos case. Numerical integration: Newton-cotes quadrature rules and composite quadrature formulae: trapeziodal rule and Cavalieri-Simpson rule.
