The course is on the foundations of public economics and public finance
The course aims to provide the fundamentals of public economics and public finance. The reasons for public intervention in the economy, public sector financing and public spending are analyzed. Module A (5 ECTS): public intervention in the economy; Module B (5 ECTS): public sector funding and public spending.

Oral exam with written graphic exercises
For students attending, the learning assessment includes two written tests during the course and an oral exam at the end of the course. The two written tests refer to different parts of the course program. For non-attending students the verification consists only of the oral exam.
