The class examines the approach to the material documentation of the past in different historical periods with particular attention to the birth of modern and contemporary archeology. Moreover, in order to reach a level of excellence, a good knowledge of the topics detailed during the lessons is required, with particular reference to the birth and development of archeology as an autonomous science, and the demonstration of having acquired historical, archaeological and critical reading skills.
