The course provides the tools for mathematical programming modelling and for the solution of such models with suitable algorithms. These optimization methods can be used for solving decision problems in different applicative contexts.
The course also provides modelling techniques and methods for the optimization and management of industrail automation systems, with specific reference to operation planning problems and discrete event systems analysis.
