The Environmental Hygiene course aims to provide students with the concepts of hygiene in environmental matters in order to better implement the activities aimed to the protection of the environment and human health.
The course aims to analyze the relationship between environment and health related to problems related to microbiological and chemical pollution of environmental matrices (air, water and soil). It provides students with the skills to assess the effects of pollutants on ecosystems and humans and to implement appropriate preventive measures for the maintenance of the health status of man and the environment.
