CODE 61155 ACADEMIC YEAR 2019/2020 CREDITS 2 cfu anno 2 SCIENZE MOTORIE, SPORT E SALUTE 8744 (L-22) - SAVONA SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINARY SECTOR IUS/01 LANGUAGE Italian TEACHING LOCATION SAVONA SEMESTER 2° Semester MODULES Questo insegnamento è un modulo di: LAW AND ECONOMICS IN SPORTS TEACHING MATERIALS AULAWEB OVERVIEW The course, composed by 20 hours lesson, first of all has the aim to make the students more legally aware of their daily lives, and to provide them with necessary tools to consciously face their sport activity. AIMS AND CONTENT AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Acquisition of private low basics, with focus on most relevant institutions in organization and practice of sport activity. In particular the course will be based on following topics: - Contracts (cases will be discussed in class). - Torts (cases will be discussed in class). TEACHING METHODS Lectures SYLLABUS/CONTENT The first part of the course will provide basics for fluency on private law language and categories and a second part will faces more specifics aspects concerning sport activities, like contracts and civil responsibilities in sports world. RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY Raffaele Caterina, Elementi di diritto civile, Torino, Giappichelli, 2018 (with the exclusion of Chapters 5 and 6). On aula web will be downloaded some cases (ca. 20 pages), which are mandatory materials in every exam session.
