The course aims to provide an overview of the ways in which philosophers have dealt with the study, of moral problems and the fundamental results they have come to during their investigations
oral, the most suitable for verifying the student's expository and argumentative skills and for encouraging the development of a problematic perspective and a personal critical vision.
In the first module will be presented a reasoned map of the main concepts used by moral philosophy in order to allow the student to form the basic knowledge tools to face, with greater awareness, the ethical discussions of our time. The fundamental stages of the history of moral doctrines, with particular reference to applied ethics, will also be exposed. In the second module, we will examine the ethical-philosophical thought of Martha C. Nussbaum with particular reference to the theme of justice and the role of emotions in political life.
