The course aims to supply the students with the essential elements for the general knowledge in relation to the possible therapeutic approaches, pharmacological and non-pharmacological useful in chronic kidney failure; in patients treated with replacement therapy, in particular dialysis and renal transplantation.

The exam includes a test (multiple choice questions). The question can be focused on clinical case/situation. Each question has 4 possible answers with only one is correct.
The assessment takes place only through the final exam which aims to ensure the effective acquisition by the student of the expected learning outcomes. The student to pass the exam, then return a mark of not less than 18/30, must demonstrate: - Knowledge and understanding of the prevention strategies, and selected kidney management aspects for the more frequent renal diseases. Paying a particular attention to hypertension, glomerulonephritis and chronic kidney disease.
