Acoustics for Hydrography and Oceanography
Providing the students with a good background on the basic knowledge of fundamentals of acoustics, the principles and properties of acoustics waves propagation, transducers, acoustic subsea positioning and signal data processing, regarding the employment of main acoustics systems in the hydrographic and oceanographic fields.
Provide at the students the knowledge of the theoretical basis of acoustics and the functioning and uses of sonar will be illustrate.
The teaching activity will consist of 16 lessons
