The course is practical in nature and aims to make the student skilled and aware, through exercises in the classroom, in the use of computerized methodologies of three-dimensional restitution to be used in the historical-artistic field. The exercises concern the 3D reconstruction of elements of the interior or exterior of buildings or the 3D reconstruction of parts of the city environment. The course uses the 3D Studio Max program, used in a professional environment and free for educational purposes.
The final aim of the course is to provide each student with the knowledge necessary to build their own three-dimensional "environment"
The final objective of the course is to provide each student with the knowledge necessary to build a "three-dimensional" environment.
The learner will know how to build a 3D scene.
He will be able to judge which commands to use in 3D Studio max to get the best results.
He will be able to communicate the results of his project by returning the reconstruction and a report where he will specify the steps he has taken to reach the results shown.
Will be able to learn new methods of reconstruction through the composition of the concepts learned.
The achievement of the objectives will be verified with:
Having of a medium-computing power notebook with the Windows operating system.
The course is based on the "learning by doing" methodology. The teacher proposes exercises that are more complex from time to time and learners must reproduce the teacher's actions using their own notebook. Each exercise is finished and the next is passed when all the learners have finished it.
