The module of Human Geography aims at providing students with elements of knowledge and interpretation of the way in which populations and societies occupy and interact with the territory (economic activities, infrastructures) under a geographical perspective.
The module introduces basic notions of the discipline in terms of its economic, environmental and demographic components. Students will be able to analyse the territory-population combination through the study of its characters and different features in order to identify specific patterns of territorial and social interactions, reflecting on new and diverse spatial organization networks.
At the same time, students will be able to examine new connections and networks of the economic world to the light of new globalisation processes and considering the different geographical levels and social and economic actors.
