The Course is focused on the scientific identity of Clinical Pedagogy and, more specifically, on deformation and miseducation dimensions which can be involved in the life of the human being.
The Course has, as main purposes, the structural knowledges related to Clinical Pedagogy and the professional skills of the clinical pedagogist.
The achievement of proper knowledge and understanding regarding the fundamental theoretical dimensions of Clinical Pedagogy and the problems of deformation and miseducation of the human being aims to understand and solve problems attributable to the pedagogical dynamics of deformation and miseducation generating states of existential malaise. This through acquisition of critical and interpretative skills revolved to mature an autonomy of judgment in dealing with situations of deformation and miseducation.
Lectures are conducted in presence of the Professor and they are, predominantly, frontal. Within the Course, group activities and seminars can be provided.
If it will be necessary, due to the prolongation of health situation related to Covid-19, Lectures will be hold on-line on Microsoft Teams platform.
The program of the Course will consist, mainly, in the following contents: the identity of Clinical Pedagogy; the relationship between Clinical Pedagogy and General Pedagogy; Clinical Pedagogy and Pedagogical Sciences; the questions of deformation and miseducation of human being: theoretical and practical aspects; the professional profiles of pedagogist and clinical pedagogist.

Ricevimento: Professor Giancarla Sola receives Students weekly. In the first semester of the A.Y. 2020-2021, Students can write to the Professor (at the e-mail address giancarla.sola@unige.it), indicating their own telephone number. This in order to organize appointments with Students. Regarding to reception of the second semester, indications will be provided at the beginning of the new year.

CLINICAL PEDAGOGY
Exam is written.
The exam, which last 45 minutes, is structured into a short number of open questions. During the time of the exam, students can consult texts in the program. Students have to take the exam with the program of the current academic year, even if they are enrolled in previous academic years. If the exam is “not passed”, Students will have to take the exam again in the same manner. For non-attending students, the exam procedures are the same.
If it will be necessary, due to the prolongation of health situation related to Covid-19, exams will be organized through distance modalities, which will be presented at the beginning of the Course.
The written exam is finalized to verify the acquired knowledge by the students and their critical capabilities in the elaboration of the learned contents.
Evaluation criteria: relevance of contents, argumentation of acquired knowledge, logical coherence, language properties, critical-problematic ability.
