The clinical internship takes place in the implant prosthodontic unit

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The aim is to acquire through a clinical experience and direct tutoring, knowledge that enables students to diagnose, develop a treatment plan and realize a correct implant-prosthetic rehabilitation with particular attention to periodontal aspects.

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of the course the student must:

• know in depth the anatomical surgical limits to plan a correct implant surgery
• know the implant “pathology”
• know how to manage soft and hard tissue
• know the soft and hard tissue regeneration technique

EXAM DESCRIPTION

Oral interview

ASSESSMENT METHODS

The interview will evaluate the capacity to formulate a proper diagnosis and treatment plan using a suitable terminology.

The evaluation will also include punctuality, personal behaviour, communication skills, decency and professionalism in the relationship with the patient, with the clinical tutors and with the dental equips of the different clinical divisions.
