The aim of the course is to provide basic knowledge of the tourism phenomenon through the geographic analysis of the territories seen from the perspective of the transformation carried out over time by the tourist activities, in search of invariants that may suggest appropriate classifications and evolutionary paradigms. Special attention will be given to the analysis of recent tourism demand in relation to changes in the behavior and tastes of the tourist and the ways of enjoying the holiday.

Assessment methods: Written test with open questions with a short answer, useful for verifying both the level of learning of the course contents and the ability to express through the use of adequate vocabulary and terminology.
