OVERVIEW

The course proposes to study more deeply the psycological aspects of interest in motor and sports  activity, at levels  both individual and group. Particular arguments will be examined including analisys and monitoring of psychological responses during training and  competitions; the correlation between personality and performances etc.

Elements of Sports Psychology: Psychology of sport, exercise and sports, exercise and sport, emotion and sport, motivation and sports, competitive spirit - psychological schools and thought patterns in Sport Psychology - methods of Sports Psychology - Psychology of individual sports and team: training styles - the sports psychological skills: ability to establish  and carry out aims and objectives, control and gestation of psychical energy  and stress, ability to concentrate - clinical psychology in sport and intervention models: conflict, frustration , performance anxiety, stress, sports Psychotherapy.
