The course is divided into two parts:
1. A first part general and more theoretical aimed to know the main problems that affect the contemporary world characterized by a high level of multipolarity;
2. A second part more practical aimed to know of how:
• the aging of the population and climate change may affect differently the socio-economic balance of a multipolar world;
• tourism development contributes to unite and divide the contemporary world.
At the end of the course, students will be able to analyze the main problems that affect a multipolar world using the classic instruments of geography (databases, maps, tables, etc.). Specifically, students will be able to critically analyze the socio-demographic, environmental, economic and cultural situations that characterize the different geographical areas and their populations.
The course will be conducted remotely through the Teams and Aulaweb platforms. Seminars and group work are planned. These activities will be organized synchronously and asynchronously depending on needs.
The Team where the classes will be held is "GEOGRAFÍA ECONÓMICA EN UN MUNDO MULTIPOLAR (cod. 95288)"
