AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course offers a key to understanding the main dimensions of interpersonal relationships, with particular attention to the professional context.

The Course provides knowledge and skills in reading the relational and communicative processes, with particular reference to the interactions proper to the professional field (relations with users and colleagues)

TEACHING METHODS

The training path is divided into a theoretical part and in active exercise spaces among the participants

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

The following topics will be covered within the course:
• the social interaction;
• the development of interpersonal behavior;
• the relational perspectives within the professional context;
• the role and professional identity in the relationship with the patient;
• the helping relationship: characteristics and objectives;
• communication skills in the professional context;
• group work in a professional context.

EXAM DESCRIPTION

The exam consists of an assessment of the knowledge through a written paper, based  on readings and topics treated during the course.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

The exam allows the student to verify the achievement of the expected learning outcomes. The ability to present the theoretical knowledge acquired will be evaluated.
The evaluation is based on criteria of relevance and completeness of the contents in relation to the explored topics.
