First aid is the help provided by unqualified personnel in the event of an emergency / urgency to victims of trauma or illnesses who have the opportunity to provide assistance. In some cases it represents the only possibility of survival as in the case of cardiac arrest or in any case a way to limit the damage and allow a more effective subsequent intervention by qualified personnel.
First aid should be taught to all civil society but in particular the culture of First Aid by its nature should be part of the baggage of those who teach in the school or operate in general in public Service or small Comunity. They can therefore in turn be messengers of this culture of the emergency.
Considered among the training internship activities, the didactic module confers knowledge related to the methods of treatment of emergencies that may occur both during motor and sports activities and and more generally in everyday life
having understood the difference between First Aid and First Aid and which regulations are at the basis, the student understands in what circumstances he must act, recognizing any dangers for himself, for the victim and for bystanders if present.
Once the problems have been identified, the student will be able to correctly transmit the data relating to the patient and his clinical conditions to the 112 operations center. In the meantime he will implement those maneuvers aimed at stabilizing the patient, creating the conditions for the intervention of qualified personnel .
