Aim of the class is to provide basic concepts of the industrial chemistry providing theory and cultural tools to tackle the physical-chemistry principles applied and working in industrial chemistry technological processes. In particular, the industrial synthesis processes of ammonia, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, sodium carbonate (Solvay process), and industrial crystallization will be described.
