The course of Internal Medicine includes lectures on topics of internal medicine character that can represent or complicating comorbid patients with orthopedic disorders. The course of skin and venereal diseases includes lectures on topics related to the structure of the skin and major skin diseases. The course of medical-surgical rehabilitation provides an introductory lesson and lessons on neurological rehabilitation, cardio-respiratory and post-surgical.

Knowing the major skin diseases, especially related to food intolerance, allergies, suffering from bedsores. Acquire skills on the principles of rehabilitation and re-education of patients in medical treatment and / or surgery.
The course aims to provide students with the basics in internal medicine with particular regard to metabolic diseases (such as diabetes), cardiovascular, respiratory, joint, and immunomediate diseases with joint involvement. The acquisition of knowledge in the field of allergic reactions is fundamental in the cultural growth of future orthopedic technicians.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to recognize the symptoms and / or signs of the most common pathologies of international interest and to critically evaluate the involvement of other health professionals (doctors, speech therapists, physiotherapists, etc.) in order to plan a appropriate diagnostic-therapeutic procedure. The extension of internal knowledge will allow the design of orthopedic aids most appropriate to the individual case, even with materials that reduce the risk of allergic or immune-mediated reactions.
