Those who earn the Master's degree in 'Global Rule of Law and Constitutional Democracy' will have the ability to:

• Use effective argumentative techniques both in the defence of human rights and democratic institutions, as public servants (judges, prosecutors, legal advisors to governments and legislative bodies) and lawyers, and in scholarly debates;
.
• Understand independently and reflectively the most significant changes that have taken place in recent years in both national and international legal systems, with particular regard to the culture of legality, human rights, constitutional democracy;
• Effectively practising law in a globalised and multicultural world;
• Publish scientific articles for publication in specialised legal and jurisprudential journals;

The required qualifications are:

• to have obtained a Master’s degree in Law from an Italian university or an equivalent qualification from a European university; 

or

• have obtained a degree in Law or Legal Sciences from a course of study lasting 10 or more semesters at a university in Latin America or an equivalent qualification from a university in other non-European countries.
