Training Objectives.

The Course aims to introduce participants to modern malware analysis techniques and provide the skills and tools to proceed with both static and dynamic analysis of real and current malware samples. The Course will provide theoretical and practical skills on the following topics: examining static properties of suspicious Windows documents/executables, behavioral analysis of malicious Windows documents/executables, static and dynamic code analysis of malicious Windows executables, recognizing packed malware and identifying its Original Entry Point (OEP), automated unpacking of malware, overcoming defenses against analysis.

degree obtained under the previous system or equivalent degrees in the classes: L08 - class of degrees in information engineering L31 - class of degrees in computer science and technology OR: secondary school diploma or degree in any class associated educational curriculum that demonstrates adequate computer skills preparatory to taking the Course.
