Training Objectives.

The objective of the Course is to transfer to the learner the skills necessary to make him or her able to understand Big Data and how to perform analyses on it in order to provide the correct support of decision-making processes. Learners will also be provided with skills on Social Network Analysis, Machine Learning and Data Mining. The Course will provide theoretical and practical skills on the following topics: Big Data, Big Data Analysis, 4 types of Data Analysis (Descriptive, Predictive, Prescriptive and Automated), mathematics and statistics for Big Data Analysis, algorithms, data structures and database management with introduction to relational and non-relational databases, artificial intelligence and machine learning, machine learning and families of algorithms (elaboration of algorithms capable of highlighting entities and classifying heterogeneous content, also making use of Neuro-Linguistic Programming techniques), Data Mining with development and use of specific methodologies (regression, clustering, associations), identification of models aimed at the interpretation of data also with predictive capacity, Social Media Analysis (through the development and processing of specific indicators and metrics aimed at the description of the main Social Networks and the analysis of networks and content), Google Cloud Platform for Big Data and Google Analytics and IOT Devices, data visualization tools: Google Data Studio, practical exercises through discussion of real cases.
