An opportunity for the best students The Research Training Course (PFR) is aimed at enhancing the training of students who are interested in in-depth activities in the field of research.. During the PFR you will develop the ability to design, set up and carry out an autonomous project, consolidating the necessary transversal skills: scientific rigour, methodology, analytical ability, critical ability, in order to practise the correct approach to the problems of historiographical research. The course aims to encourage autonomy of judgement, scientific creativity, and the ability to focus on and communicate expected results. At the end of the PFR you will receive the Diploma Supplement as a certification of your work. How to participate To take part in the Research Training Course you must send the application form (enclosure 2 of the call for applications), by 15 June 2025, to the email address of Prof. Fulvia Zega (fulvia.zega@unige.it), with the subject line "Application for the Historical Sciences RFP". Remember to indicate which research project you have chosen from those proposed. The maximum number of candidates admitted to the Research Training Pathway for the academic year 2024/2025 is 6 (six).. Selection and publication of the ranking list To assess your suitability an interview with a special Commission is scheduled. During the interview you will have to: discuss topics relevant to the research area of your chosen project; illustrate your motivation to participate in the RFP programme; read and translate a part of a scientific publication in English (or in another language that may be provided by the chosen project); The eligibility interview will take place online on 20 June 2025, starting at 9:30 am. The TEAMS access code will be communicated by email to those admitted to the interview. Following this, the Commission will draw up a ranking list of merit which will be published by 23 June 2025, on the page dedicated to the "Research training pathway" on the institutional website of the School of Studies..
