The course provides an overview of the main macroeconomic issues and the corresponding strategies of economic policy, emerging from the present national and international contex
The course aims at providing the students with a basic knowledge of the targets, strategies instruments and effects of monetary and fiscal policy, with respecto to the current international economic context.
The course aims at providing the students with the basic knowledge on the theoretical models and strategies of economic policy. Special attention will be dedicated to the analysis of macroeconoic and public finance topics in the current phase of evolution of the national and international economic context and to the implications of economic policies for the decisions of the firms.
Ability to properly communicate in written and oral form, ability to adapt communication to the context, use of sources and tools of various nature, critical thinking, ability to use, develop and value information, ability to expose.
Microeconomics and Macroeconomics
Lessons by the teacher. The sessons may include additional seminars on specific topics.

The students who have difficulties with the Italian textbook might use the correspondent chapters of the English edition of the book
Ricevimento: Office hours for meeting students will be published on the "AulaWeb" site of the course as soon as the administration offices have prepared the lessons timetable. The office hours for meeting students only apply during the lessons periods of the Ist and 2nd Semesters. Written exam
The degree of knowledge acquired in the subject are assessed, in the written exam, by means of open questions referring to the methodologies and relevant topics illustrated in the lectures and in the textbook.
No restrictions in repeating the exam, in case of failure

Not compulsory
