The purpose of the course is to provide students with the tools to orient themselves in the complex panorama of modernity from the anthropological point of view and the geography of population and migration

Active participation in the proposed training activities (lectures and seminars) will allow you to: - understand the dynamics of globalization, - identify the contradictions of development policies, - know and know how to interpret the main demographic indicators, - know the salient features of the history of the world population; - know the economic, social, environmental and cultural factors and processes underlying migratory phenomena and the forms they have taken over time; - to know the persistence of migratory phenomena.

However,tutoring is held on the same day and at the same time on the TEAMS . The exam will take place orally. For the part relating to the module "CULTURAL, MIGRATORY AND DEMOGRAPHIC DYNAMICS" there is an optional test, with the presentation of a thematic study during the course, which will contribute to the final evaluation.
L’esame verificherà l’effettiva acquisizione delle conoscenze di base e permetterà di verificare le capacità di analisi dei temi trattati. Fungeranno d parametri per il giudizio:
-la qualità dell’esposizione;
-l’utilizzo corretto del lessico specialistico;
-l’attitudine all’analisi critica;
-l’originalità del ragionamento.;
- la padronanza degli argomenti trattati nel corso delle lezioni.
