The course aims, on the one hand, to reconstruct the history of bioethics in its different dimensions-medical, environmental, animal -- and, second, to re-examine the ways in which moral reflection responded to the challenges of sciences of life (medicine, biology, ethology, ecology).
Demonstrate good understanding and knowledge of the topics covered in the lectures;
To know how to use, through critical and conscious reasoning activities, the knowledge and tools acquired
Frontal lessons; seminar activities
In the first module will be offered a general framework on the origins and development of the discipline, the main theories, the most significant models.
In the second module the different bioethical problems will be examined in the different areas to identify the research lines and the most significant regulatory guidelines

argumentative skills and for encouraging the development of a problematic perspective and a
personal critical vision.
The lessons will be held face-to-face
